About He.art
He.art is a writing space with an AI in it. Most AI tools hand you a transcript; He.art hands you a document.
Ask a question and the answer arrives as a block you can edit: fix a line, rewrite a paragraph, or open the Markdown beside it. Add your own writing and diagrams between the answers, reorder them, and what began as a conversation becomes something you wrote.
What you can do
-
Ask, then edit
Every answer is editable, in place, in the rendered view or in its Markdown source beside it. The two stay in step as you type.
-
Write, not just chat
Add text blocks and diagrams anywhere, move sections around, and undo any of it. Or start from a blank document and never ask a question at all.
-
Choose the AI
Answers come from AI models made by other companies, and you can pick which model answers you.
-
Bring your material
Paste in what you already have, and attach images, PDFs and text files for He.art to read alongside your question.
-
Find it again
Tag what you write, pin what you live in, filter by tag or by who can see it, and search across everything.
-
Private, or shared on purpose
Everything is private until you decide otherwise. Share a link, publish to the Community, or invite someone to edit alongside you and watch their changes arrive as they type.
-
Apps and photos, too
Beside chats and documents you can make small apps and publish them, and keep photographs as items you edit.
-
Yours to keep
One click copies every chat into your own Google Drive as Markdown you can read anywhere, so your writing outlives any one app.
He.art and Heart Photos
The photographs you keep in He.art live in Heart Photos, one photo library shared by He.art, the AVIF converter at avif.he.art, and the public photo wall at heart.photos. An image uploaded through any of them is there in all of them. Developers can reach the same library through its API and MCP server, with a token made in He.art’s account menu; the documentation explains how.
Who makes it
He.art is made by Freedom! Family Limited. It is free to use within the Free tier’s usage limits, and you sign in with your Google account, so we never see your password.
